I am a newbie photographer and blogger so let’s see how this goes.

I love taking photos but up until now have been a quick point-and-shoot kinda gal with no thought to what it takes to get a great image. Not that there’s anything wrong with point-and-shoot in some situations, but I have often been disappointed with the results.

I hope that creating this site will motivate me to spend more quality time with my camera and help other budding photographers have the confidence to move away from the ‘auto’ setting…
