I’ve talked quite a lot on this blog about the technical aspects of photography, but actually, what it really comes down to, is just allowing yourself the time to get out there and take photos.
Driving home the other night, I could see the sky was tinged with pink and, inspired by a recent conversation about how hard it can be to find creative motivation, I decided to just go straight out and start snapping.
By the time I reached the seafront the sun had gone. It was cold, getting dark and the wind was blowing so hard I could barely hold the camera steady let alone find the right settings.
These are not the photos I intended to take when I headed out that evening, but these are the photos I took. Doing something is better than nothing.
