A few years ago, I quit my brain-numbing call centre job and took off to Japan for a much needed adventure.  I saw some incredible sights but, as I was there in Autumn, I missed out on experiencing the famous cherry blossoms in bloom.

Now, it may not be quite as impressive as the multitude of pink flowers sweeping across Japan, but the tree down my road has recently come into full bloom and had me hypnotised with its delicate display.

The weather this week is beginning to take its toll so I thought I better get some photos before the petals are all lost to the wind (and snow… in April! It’s crazy). So pour yourself a glass of sake and pretend you’re in Japan for a moment as you browse my photos below…
